Safety Tips
- Leave a copy of your travel itinerary with your family or friends.
- If you are travelling in a tour group, do not separate from your group or travelling companion.
- Keep all your travel documents and valuables in a hotel safe or safe deposit box, if available.
- Never carry a large sum of money in your wallet or purse. If you do carry money, it should be kept in your front pocket or a specially design travel pouch i.e. money belt.
- Do not wear expensive jewelry, watches, or accessories in a public place. Women should keep their purse or hand bag on their lap or in direct view while dining.
Travel Tips
- Make sure all your shots are up to date before travelling. If you are travelling anywhere in Asia or South America you should also be vaccinated for Hepatitis.
- Carry your own tissue paper, hand sanitizer or alcohol.
- Use a good sunscreen with adequate SPF protection.
- Drink plenty of purified or bottled water to prevent dehydration.
