READERS,
   This issue of Island Breeze features some small talk with some of Cebu’s most famous street vendors and the food that they serve to the people. Their dedication to family and hard work is an inspiration to all inspiring entrepreneur’s to find their niche and to come up better and be more productive citizen.

   China is in the news again and this time it is not for lead tainted toys or adulterated products. It appears that China has been handling an outbreak of swine disease under the radar and may have been exporting the disease to unsuspecting neighboring countries. Will the international community ever trust China after this?

   The garbage problem is one of the many problems that concerns tourist in Cebu according to exit surveys conducted by DOT. This issue talks about some the garbage problems as well as some responsible people trying to make positive changes and a living from garbage.

   Finally the Philippines are already known for having some of the best beaches in the world. This month’s featured destination is beautiful Siargao. Surf’s up, for those who want to tame the waves of the most known place to surf in the Philippines. Whether you want to “Hang Ten” or just “Hang Loose” the pristine white sand beaches and the beauty of Siargao will definitely leave a lasting impression on you.

   “Island Breeze” Magazine is looking to expanding our current distribution coverage to other islands in order to help promote business and tourism throughout the Philippines.

   Also during the month of September, we will be upgrading our website in order to serve the people better. So please bear with us during our upgrade and look forward to a new and better website.
