VQ Advertising’s International Sales and Marketing Consultant Tim Quan was invited as a panelist on a forum regarding children and the media. The show was taped and aired locally on Cebu Catholic Television Network (CCTN) channel 47 and channel 56 on cable. The show was hosted by Father Dadie Silva and Stella Monteno. The forum was sparked by a recent letter from Pope Benedict XVI and his concerns over children and the media. Pope Benedict’s message stressed that many television shows currently shown today exposes children to violence and poor morals. Without proper parental guidance, the children become lost and misguided. Like Father Dadie said in the forum, “You can lock all your doors and windows but you still allow the evil to enter into your homes through the television.”
